Eyak Foundation sponsors three Eyak youth to attend the Elder & Youth Conference

Three high school students who are Eyak shareholders or descendants were sponsored by The Eyak Foundation to attend this year’s Elder and Youth Conference. Agnes Nichols, Mylon Weems, and Shyla Krukoff were selected by an essay contest held by the Native Village of Eyak, and were chaperoned by Brooke Johnson, the Youth Coordinator for NVE. They all enjoyed spending time with their peers and learning from the elders in attendance, and stopped by the Foundation office to meet our Foundation board and thank us personally for supporting them.
