The Eyak Foundation’s Board of Trustees thank Jim Ujioka for his many years of dedicated service to The Eyak Foundation. Jim resigned from the Board of Trustees in February.
We are pleased to welcome TEC directors Matt Andersen and Jim McDaniel to the Board of Trustees, whose other members include: Ashley Christensen (Acting President), Rikki Addy (Treasurer), Todd Lilleness (Secretary), John Johnson, and Sherman Powell.
In 2024, The Eyak Foundation issued scholarships in the total amount of $42,250. Thirteen scholarships have been issued so far in 2025, totaling $20,375.
The Trustees continue to receive, review, and approve educational and vocational scholarships for our Shareholders and Descendants. We recognize that this time of year is when many education-seekers are trying to determine how to fund their educational and vocational goals. We want to help you! We encourage you to apply for educational and vocational scholarships from The Eyak Foundation.

The Trustees greatly appreciate the three silent fundraisers held each year in Anchorage, Cordova, and Seattle, with proceeds going to The Eyak Foundation.
